Water Walkers are small dragons that are frequently found around bogs and ponds. While they are flightless, they retain the flight sacs and hollow bones of their airborne cousins. These traits, coupled with their extraordinarily long, webbed toes, allow them to stand on top of calm waters, using their small sails to propel them wherever they please. They spend the majority of their lives on the water, retreating to the tops of lily pads when the waters become too rough to float atop.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Chevalier de Lac or Chevalier has made his home at the gates of the fea kingdom. He has grown up there all his life, watching the fairies and their queen pass by. He has always been entranced by them. As a hatchling he would talk to them and ask them about their land. They would tell him all sorts of amazing stories and his dreams were often filled with stories of his own. He grew up and realized that he could never go to the land himself, but he wished to protect it from anyone that might wish the fairyfolk harm. He stands guard by the gate, patrolling the waters to make sure no humans or even other dragons come near. The fairies often tell him tales of knights and he wants nothing more than to be like them. He follows their code of honor and respect, always having a fair fight when challenged. The fairies will still often talk with him and tell him more stories of the fea and of knights, and he still dreams up his own stories, hoping that one day he will be welcomed into their land.
