Turpentine Dragons are named for the oil that covers their scales. This oil resembles turpentine in odor and is mildly toxic; it will not kill but it burns to the touch and will cause illness in anyone who ingests it. Turpentine Dragons roam in large packs, often stealing food from larger dragons, though they are able to hunt for themselves if necessary. Many other breeds consider Turpentine Dragons to be pests, so they primarily breed among themselves.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Jasmeria is known to be one of the proudest and most vain dragons in the entire Nakaw clan. This turpentine can brag on and on about her beauty, nonstop. She believes that since she is mated to the thieving pack's leader, Bandit, she should be given the same amount of respect that he receives, taking pleasure in bossing her clan mates. This isn't always the case since her boastfulness has led many to think of her as a spoiled brat, though none of the Nakaw dare to voice their opinion for fear of angering their merciless commander. Jasmeria can be rather manipulative, she is the only one who can influence Bandit's decisions, which is quite a feat considering the leader's stubbornness and arrogance. Some of her better qualities are her confidence and undying loyalty to her beloved mate, who showers her in gifts of gold and silver. Jasmeria is incredibly protective over her offspring. This mistrustful mother can turn dangerously aggressive when she feels her hatchlings are threatened.
