Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. A small green egg lay in the cave. Katherine was busy treating her white egg like the most precious of all prenatal dragons and paying almost no attention to her little green egg. As it sat inside the egg it grew angry and bitter. Not towards the white egg, it liked it as a sibling would. It grew bitter towards Katherine. When she was safely hatched Poitur was named after a friend of Katherine. She grew older and eventually became an adult. She often broods about her childhood and the moments when she lashed out at her dragon master. It took a long time for maturity to kick in. By then some dragons had suspected death awaited her but to this day she is alive. Still angry and bitter.
