Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Snowsoul is named after his mother, Peaceful Moonshadow. Snowsoul has never uncursed an Undead dragon, making him feel unwanted. His father never wanted him, so his mother cared for him. Snowsoul cares for eggs and hatchlings, alongside his mother. When he bred with a black Striped Dragon, he was scared to see the egg was not a Soulpeace, like he'd hoped. Unfortunately, it was a white Striped. While his mate was asleep, he took the egg and, in his talons, set the egg down in the abandoned area of the main cave, where his grandmother had been found. He went back to the cave where he and his trainer's dragons lived and cried out that this egg had been stolen by a hungry Daydream. He feels guilty and knows he did the right thing, because his trainer would have killed the egg.

Snowsoul is caring and forgiving, which some would tease him for since he abandoned his own child. He sounds gentle and firm.
