Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very aggressive, and has brilliant turquoise markings all over its body.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Zickoryst is a really mean frozen hatchling, aggressive and easily angered. He bites and scratches other hatchlings in the clan until it makes them want to fight. He usually beats them, however. Zickoryst will bite adult dragons, too. "Zickoryst" is an old Mirsapia island word for blueberries. Zickoryst's names matches him well for the turquoise markings all over his body. In the Gwinston clan language turquoise was called "Fallna". He actually came from that clan as an egg until the Gwinston clan gave it away.
