Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jasper Earthtremor never gave up his hatchling pastime of collecting pebbles, and will spend hours sorting and re-sorting his collection by various categories—size, color, markings, and so on.  He's figured out that the best way to expand his collection is to enlist the efforts of green dragon hatchlings, and he will trade rocks with them as an incentive for them to bring him what they've found.  Jasper will even let passing human travelers dig through his extra rocks if they bring him something nice in return.  He's worked out a thorough exchange system for various types of rocks and gems, and woe betide any human who tries to cheat him (he's more lenient with hatchlings)—they'll be knocked over by one of his earthquakes and lucky if they walk away with just bruises.
