Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
In ancient myths, one nation's name keeps coming up: Morrowind. It was a land filled with strange beasts, some wonderful and some horrid. Amongst them all was the great Magma Dragon, feared among the beasts and wild as the volcanoes it lived in. According to legend, none of these dragons could ever be tamed, even if hatched from an egg... that is, until the day Morrowind was attacked. Thousands of monsters streamed into Morrowind: no one knows where they came from. Legends say that the leader of the Magma dragons, Mekushku, allowed a famous hero to ride him. He led the way to more Magmas accepting riders, and together the Magmas and their riders drove back and defeated the monsters of the land.
Whether these legends are true or not is unknown, but the only Magma of Kaoru's Cave, named after the legends herself, believes they are. Morrowind can most often be found hanging out with Oblivion and Skyrim, the other two members of the legendary trio. Morrowind is the least talkative.
