Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Chronos are often considered to be the most elusive of all Xenowyrm subspecies: they live in the darkest and densest forests, far from civilization. They are masters of time magic, allowing them to manipulate the flow of time at will. It is said that Chrono lairs are protected by a field of magic that makes the minutes tick by at a slow pace for any unwanted visitors.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Born on the shore

Where the sea foam rests

Lay a Chrono Xenowyrm.

He watched the waves beat the sandy breast

Of the beach that he lay before.

Carried here from far away

He traveled for countless days.

He knew not a place where we could stay,

So on that barren shore he lay,

Not knowing where to go.

When Semat was an egg, he was tossed into the waves and carried far away to a beach somewhere. He grew old here, not even knowing that not far away lay a cave with all sorts of different dragons whom he could befriend. Although he can distort time to his will, he will not. He believes that time should pass naturally. The day he is fated to die, he will die. The day he is fated to rejoice, he will rejoice. Alone on his beach, he waits for a dragon to find him and spend a little time with him. But for now, he sits in a little hole he's made for himself and watches the clouds go by.
