Antarean Dragons are peaceful creatures shrouded in mystery. They are primarily found in the desert where they get most of their energy from sunbathing. Their most notable traits are their highly reflective manes and the mysterious light emitted by their scales which fades from bright, nearly blinding yellow-white into dim red as the dragons get older. Legend claims that they are otherworldly beings that came to this world when a meteor struck.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Europius was born into a small, cramped, damp cage in a small, dark room. Humans would feed him chewy, distasteful food and dirty, bitter water. They would pluck at his feathers and pull hairs from his mane, which is what pushed Europius into his dark doings. He killed the humans and escaped captivity, finding himself stranded in the middle of a desert. He didn't know how to look after himself, but he did know how to fly. He found a human settlement far away from his captors, whom he had killed. Some children found him, dehydrated and exhausted. They brought him into their home and cared for him with real meat and clean water. He was forever grateful, serving the children with utter loyalty and respect as they grew into adults. He would take them on rides through the desert and bring them his shed feathers, which could be sold for enough money to feed the family for months. He was their saviour, and they were his.
