Olive Dragons are a small, forest-dwelling breed, rarely growing much larger than the average sheep. When alarmed, they can erect a long row of venomous spines on their back, serving to warn any potential predators that Olives are not a good choice for a meal. While not strong enough to kill anything larger than a small deer, their venom causes an extremely painful reaction and necrosis at the bite site, sometimes causing the flesh to rot and limbs to fall off.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Squabbles prefers the taste of berries and pumpkins from local farms over the taste of sheep. She prefers to protect farms from pillagers rather than attack the actual farmers. Due to her instinctive, weary and hungry nature, she doesn't handle being spooked very well at all. She will drip venom from her spikes as a defense display when she feels threatened. Her best friend is a Christmas Dragon named Hendida Dash. During winter months the pair can be seen frolicking acres and between small forested areas in search of mistletoe berries. When winter recedes, Squabbles stays to watch over the farmlands while Hendida leaves for cold terrain. Squabbles finds meaning in life by collecting food. In an earlier time of life she went without food for extended periods of time, this likely lead to her obsession with it. She dreams food, she eats food, she loves food. Her entire life revolves around savory bites and morsels of food. Hence the time she spends with her best friend is to get food.
