White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Selthinia is a quiet, aloof dragon. She tells nothing of her past to dragons who pass by her cave. She lives alone in the mountains, and offers healing to dragons who pass through her home and require it. Nobody is quite sure why she lives alone or why she's so mysterious, and with good reason. Selthinia goes to long lengths to make sure that nobody ever finds out.

When she was just out of her hatchling years, Selthinia had found her heart captured by a young black dragoness. Eventually, the young white dragoness built up her courage and confessed her feelings. This was met with much rejection, and she found herself mocked and ridiculed. Such names as "freak" were thrown at her, and eventually Selthinia fled the clan.

Since then, she's resided alone in her cave in the mountains, far away from the members of her former clan and her past, while trying to suppress her feelings for the black dragoness that she still loves after so many years.
