Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Ariziya Cono, abandoned at birth yet still holding pieces of both his parents' names, grew up with Kover and they thus have created a strong brotherly bond with each other. Cono is a good dragon, honorable and kind, yet he is strongly hated by many for mating with Seduira. Because of this, when he and his brother mated with Seduira and Yeusai respectively, both eggs were rejected by the group. Kover is still angry with Cono, blaming him for the loss of their eggs, so now the only dragon who acknowledges Cono is Seduira. He is an outcast from the group and sometimes leaves for weeks at a time due to the shame... Despite this, both he and Seduira wish to create many eggs, increasing the population of their species.
