This hatchling appears to be... dead?

Perhaps not. It seems to be active during the night.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Raskreia Jr is seen by the Noble family as the voice of reason amongst the three kids of the horde. Quick-witted and slightly manipulative, she is able to resolve the shenanigans her two other siblings always create with the Dark Green dragons just by the sheer force of her words. However, with the violent and impulsive nature present in most of these dragons, words do fail her sometimes... That's when she unveils her fangs, which are cleaner and sharper than that of an adult due to her lack of usage and her vain nature leading her to sharpen her fangs everyday just to make them shine.

The increased frequency of the trouble caused by her siblings is very much to her annoyance, so she has since snapped at them with her fangs after every strangely similar episode. "They will never learn!" She would exclaim afterwards. She would sigh before the whole game of Vine-chase-Vampire restarts once more. "There we go again."
