Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Erria is a rather mysterious creature. Her egg appeared abandoned near the territory of Marquian's Dragon Clan. The dragons couldn't leave her to die so they took it in. It seemed to have some trouble communicating with them and when it hatched two other hatchlings where injured by it. The dragons figured out what was the problem immediately! It didn't talk with its prey. They moved it away and told the youngsters to keep away from the "area". Only one creature dared to approach the "area". Yaminoyori, a friend of Marquian's and the dragons' uncle alone always went to feed and nurture it. He realized that she was a dragon indeed and decided to name her as is custom with the naming ritual. However she was always bad at telepathy so he had to come up with a name himself. Since everyone called her the "area" he decided to name her that and made a fancier spelling. She only listens to him.
