Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

When Lagie's cave hosted a large gathering of foreign dragons, Scribe was Lagie's left-hand dragon, and with the help of Pavia, the three of them managed to make everything flow smoothly. Scribe created a new way of recording data, and her fancy new spreadscrolls, as she called them, became crucial while the other dragons were there. The spreadscrolls kept track of dragons' names, arrivals, departures, even their preferred dietary needs! Scribe also made sure Lagie was kept plied with plenty of chocolate chip cookies. At the end of the gathering, everyone agreed that Scribe had done by far and away a job above and beyond the call of duty. Scribe appreciated their accolades, but, like Pavia, she was much more appreciative of having a few nights' uninterrupted rest!

For some reason no one has yet been able to uncover, Scribe loves to lie on rugs while working on her spreadscrolls.
