Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Taboo" in Japanese, he is a son of Kentaro and Kiyomi and was raised alongside his brother Gokujou and his sisters Aoi Tori and Eiai. He is a very quiet and reserved dragon, and mostly only hangs out with his family and the other Vampire Dragons. As a dragonet, he was always the one that would cuddle up to Kiyomi and just sleep. He's very calm, and it takes a lot to anger or upset him. Many of the dragons were a little leery of having another Vampire dragon enter the colony, but after Zetsumei and Shinigami it didn't seem like it could end up being too bad. And sure enough everyone soon realized that some of the Pygmy dragons are scarier than Kinki. He met Yuurei in the mountains, and was shocked to find an available female Vampire dragon. They began dating, and soon they were courting. They get along perfectly, and love each other so much.
