White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The first dragon ever found by the young girl who calls herself the queen of the white lions, Halath is the girl's best friend. All through hatchlinghood, dragon and girl could not be seperated.  When they were both young, they supported each other through tough times. Having both known what it is like to be without parents, they share many of the same views. The bond between them is stronger than most between dragon and human.

She is also leader of the Pay'keus clan, and is like a mother to the clan. She comforts the young ones when they are troubled, and is a good listener. Members of the clan often go to her for advice or solace. She almost always keeps her temper in check and hasn't ever fought with other dragons.

She uses her healing magic to help her family, as well as any other person or dragon that may need it, even if they aren't known to her.

Even though many dragons in the clan ask her to be their mate, she declines in hopes that she will find her own love someday.
