White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As night falls and the wind whispers through the forest, Luhaan's screams can be heard echoing throughout the caves. The other healing dragons can only watch as he rolls around on the cave floor, convulsing in the throes of nightmares. "Alize," he cries, "Let me help! Please...please." His wails are only broken by deep, rumbling dragon sobs. Hot tears sizzle on the rocky ground.

A short time ago, Luhaan's mate, Alize, suffered grievous wounds while trying to defend her egg from a Vampire dragon. Despite her valiant efforts, the egg was bitten. Alize grieved deeply. A dragon's grief is like none other; when Luhaan found Alize, her flesh ripped and her wings useless, he was unable to help her. She refused all healing power offered and died clutching her dead egg between broken claws. Luhaan has suffered from torturous nightmares ever since.

Now he is medically attentive to the other dragons almost to a fault, trying to make up for what he was unable to heal in his mate.
