Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Barnabas of the Wind has no clue as to why he is named Barnabas of the Wind, and as such, he also has no clue when breakfast is. He is an incredibly forgetful dragon, with memories that flit through his mind as quickly as he flits through the forests around his cave. To counteract this forgetfulness, he is incredibly intelligent, and can solve any puzzle in his way.

The only problem is, he'll forget how to solve the puzzle right after he finishes.
