Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Like all daydream dragons, Windiling seems a carefree creature; one who keeps her eyes to the skies, absorbed in her own dreams, as much as she watches the people down below whose minds she touches with her gift. Her spirit shines with the gentle, warm radiance of one who is at peace in the dream-realm, who has befriended the limitless power of imagination and come to be at ease with the truths it reveals. However, around other members of the Virus Horde, she seems oddly bashful and withdrawn, as if knowing that she holds a low place in the pecking order. Her gaze is clear and bright, but just a little wary, and she holds her head low whenever the others pass.
Oddly, there seem to be times when she, too, is caught up in a trancelike state, akin to the ones into which she puts others. These days, in particular, she seems to be enraptured by dreams even more than she enraptures others.
