Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Saaranga has always been a volatile dragon, even as a hatchling. Her friends absolutely must be forgiving, because she is always arguing and fighting with them- and anyone else. As a result, she doesn't usually get along with other gray dragons and has lost several friends. However, she is incredibly sensitive to other dragons' feelings and, after an outburst, is wracked with guilt. Stormy weather helps her to calm down, and she's created storms before simply to cool off. After calming down, she usually comes back to whomever she was fighting with and apologizes. <br/>When young, she used to chase Futsubasa and other Skywing dragons, longing to be just as fast as they were. She would throw fits and screech at anyone who beat her in a race but, as she always has, apologize later. Luckily for her, Futsubasa was always forgiving. Saaranga still loves racing, and no longer throws fits. She also loves storms, anything that gets her adrenaline pumping, and cloudy weather.
