Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Skull of Steel is one of Phoenix's dragons. As one of the youngest warriors of the clan, he tends to be cocky and easily angered, but with good reason -- the older, gruffer warriors (mainly I Sense in the Wind and Ripping of the Throat) constantly criticise him and put him down. He finds it very difficult to perform to their expectations, and this has quickly resulted in his becoming very cynical and irritable. In reality he is quite a softie at heart, and he feels some commune with Feathers Drifting in the Air, the young medic who finds herself to be in a similar situation. Slowly, they have become good friends as well as counselor-counselee.
In addition to the emotional guidance of Feathers, Steel has also made a pseudo-mentor out of Crazed for the Flame, as they both hold an alignment with magic. Steel tends to take Flame's patient instruction poorly, and Flame's other apprentice, Trouble Magnet, gets on his nerves horribly, but he has made progress regardless.
