White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nanoken (although he prefers just "Ken") is what his clan describes as a High-Priest in Training. All White dragons have healing abilities, but certain special members are chosen to oversee the others, to learn the secrets of their order and learn certain spells and reasons that others aren't supposed to know. Ken wants so badly to help others, to use his magic to cure and heal...but learning the secrets of his order has made him wary of everyone and everything. He has become almost a loner, doing good deeds when he can, always brooding over the knowledge he can't speak of.
