Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

DuskDanyaa is a Black dragon. Fierce and short tempered, she had to be kept away from other hatchlings when she was young because of her tendency to get into scraps with them. Unusually strong and agile, even for her warrior race, DuskDanyaa was immediately taken under her grandfather, the family head Duskglider's wing. She trains with him, her uncle FrostFlyer the Winter and Rose Satin the Red, and has already defeated the latter two in minor battles. Unfortunately, fighting seems to be the only thing DuskDanyaa is good at. She is awkward around hatchlings and rarely takes part in conversations, sitting silently through family discussions. Attempts to involve her usually result in her snarling menacingly or leaving the cave. Her parents seem to be the only dragons she can talk to, and the two are trying to draw their daughter out of her shell.
