Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Tyokango is an Ochredrake. As a hatchling, his hyperactive nature made him very difficult to raise, and his family had to keep a constant watch on him as he kept wandering off. During the times he escaped their vigilance, he invariably ran into danger, and it took the combined efforts of his entire family to rescue him. He once ran straight into the path of a human stampede heading for a Gold egg, and it was only by knocking the entire lot out that he was saved from being trampled to death. Another time, he ended up snared in the tendrils of an enormous and ancient Vine dragon. It took a long and difficult battle to win his release. Despite all that, Tyokango is a goodhearted dragon, and very much in love with his mate, Macarilla, for whom he would face any danger... even though his family would much rather he didn't.
