Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His Bluest Excellency is a common dragon with the greatest gold pile in all of his kingdom, of all the common dragons, at least. He is NOT of nobility in his kingdom, but he INSISTS that all call him His Bluest Excellency. He is very stuck up and lives a very lavish lifestyle. While he isn't royalty, he lives like he is and expects everyone to treat him as such. If they do not, he becomes very angry and floats off on his cloud in a huff. He does not generally cause legitimate conflict; he is just whiny. As for whether His Bluest Excellency is evil or not, it's hard to tell. Most perceive him as greedy and as a result just leave him alone as he causes no harm to people, save for being quite snobbish.
