Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Slaeja used to be happy with her mother in the rain forests of South America. Curious, kind and appreciative, Slaeja was the perfect little daughter. That is, until a native tribe came along... Seeing the small hatching and dragon mother as a great source of meat, they attacked savagely. The mother was killed first; then the tribe's chieftain took one look at the baby, and had a horrible thought. A horrible, terrible thought. Minutes later, Slaeja was being treated like a slave. And to her extreme worry; her dead mother could not save her. This went on for years, until a large, feathered Skywing came along. He introduced himself as Quetzie, and he set off a spark in Slaeja's mind: "I'm much stronger and smarter then the natives!" And the rest is pretty obvious. Unfortunately, Quetzie had to leave, and Slaeja has been harsh and cold ever since.
