Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Queen Doomer is King Linen's mate. Doomer is a very selfish and narcissistic dragon who rarely cares for anything but herself. She can be seen flaunting her beauty in the cave and showing off her brilliant golden scales, much to the other female dragons' dislike. They envy her beauty and power, and her gloating only makes their hate for her stronger.

It's a wonder Doomer became Queen. After all, she has proven it difficult for her to love anyone but herself. There are rumors that she merely became mates with Linen to establish leadership. Unfortunately they are true. Linen refuses to believe them and Doomer punishes anyone who mentions it. Luckily she is cunning enough to pull her deception off and brutal enough to frighten her inferiors into holding their tongues.

Doomer has been building a small army of Frostbite dragons, mainly to protect her, though she claims it's to defend the cave. Her dragons discipline anyone who steps out of line.
