Royal Crimson Dragons are so named due to their massive size and confident, regal bearing. Most of the time they are laid back, ignoring non-prey creatures smaller than themselves, although they will occasionally take fresh kills from other dragons as a reminder of their place in the social order. Although there are few other dragons large enough to pose a threat to Royal Crimsons, they have little tolerance for potential rivals and will fiercely defend their territory from such intruders.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Crv i Voda is an unusual Royal Crimson dragon. She has a theory that life is made up of two things, blood and water. She claims that the blood is the bad side of things, and water is the good side. Crv i Voda's theory is accepted by some, and rejected by others. Most dragons couldn't care less.

A little cave on the lower slopes of a volcano named "The Mouth Of Thorn" is home to Crv i Voda. Here, she keeps some books on various subjects, mainly philosophy. When not musing on her theory, Crv i Voda likes flying and listening to music made by other dragons.

Eccentric and somewhat lazy, but a rather pleasant, polite dragon, Crv i Voda is good friends with Seventh Bonfire. The two mateless dragons enjoy sitting together and discussing various ideas, away from the hustle and bustle of the hatchlings and other dragons.
