Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sitting upon a cloud, a sky blue dragon relaxes. Cloudy Sky is a pretty laid back dragon, though she does love to send humans and other dragons deep into thought. Her purple mane blows back as a gentle breeze arrives. Even the weather, or at least Gray dragons, seems to be sent into a daze by this Daydream dragon. She has a long and thin tail, the tip accented with a large tuft of fur which is the same color as her mane. Even though Cloudy Sky is uncomfortable around humans, she isn't afraid to float down on her cloud and visit the human she has grown up with, Amber, and fight the urge to not send her into a daze. Even though this blue dragon prefers to ride her cloud around rather than fly, she sometimes spreads her wings. She has talons on the tip her wings, the same purple as her mane, and she won't hesitate to use them if she is threatened. A person who spots Cloudy Sky would be wise to turn around and go back to where they came from.
