White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Naoru is one of the many sons of Kentaro and Kiyomi. He's always been a mama's boy. His mother chose to name him "To Heal" in Japanese. Growing up in such a big family, Naoru loves to socialize with the other dragons, and is very friendly. His best friend is Naosu. He loves to tell jokes and stories, and is a real ham. Hatchlings in particular love him, and Naoru uses this to his advantage while treating them for illness. He'll be telling them a nice entertaining story; and then when they're nice and distracted, he'll set their broken bones and use his magic to heal them. Since he is so good with the younglings, he is usually the one to heal their injuries. He met his mate, Mabui, at the healing compound. They were both working there, and were soon harboring secret crushes for one another. Then one day, Mabui tripped and twisted her ankle. Naoru healed it for her with a gentle magic word and massage. They began courting soon after. They are soul mates, and their love will last forever.
