Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Deep in the highlands of Alba is an enormous Ice dragon scouring the mountains for any dragon not born of the wintry elements. The huge spikes covering her spine may be impressive, but what is most terrifying about Bainidh is the fierce, mad look in her eyes. The loss of both her first-born and her first mate to the claws of Dealan has fixed a mix of desperate fear and intense hatred within her heart. The sight of the torn apart remnants of her hatchling and lover have kindled a fury in her of unbound proportions, not only for Dealan but for any dragon of a different skin. Although she has let a new mate into her life and her family has extended in a clan of Ice and Winter dragons, she has never lost her hatred for any other dragons and will tear them apart to protect her loved ones and prevent history from repeating itself.
