Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Gerry isn't the oldest dragon of his scroll, but he is by far the most worldly and the wisest. Although he tends to be very grumpy, antisocial, and hermit-like, he truly enjoys the company of younger dragons seeking his knowledge. Though he's very in tune with the Earth, he chooses not to use most of his earthen powers anymore. He claims that the Earth will move and act as she pleases, and that he has no right to force her to do otherwise. He also enjoys sweets such as cake and chocolates.
