Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Maco Skai is the Alpha Female of the Herd. She got the prestigious position by being hot-tempered and volatile, and having the capacity to fight other females. Having stolen Alpha position from Thunderic Majesty through a brutal fight, that left her unable to breed, and a growling contest that damaged her hearing and voice to the point where she cannot hear or make a sound, Maco Skai is the feared leader of the Herd. After her companion Leranos died before them having mated, she called upon Myst to protect her during the night from roving males and members of the Herd that want to become Alpha by mating with her. Little does her guardian, Mysterium Revealed, know but Maco Skai wants the quiet dragon to be Alpha Male, commanding respect with his beautiful neck frills, and being a strong breeder.
