Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Katyn is a good friend to many and beloved among his clan for the happiness he brings in his small acts of kindness and generosity. Yet he fails to understand why helping some dragon without being asked or giving a gift randomly, no matter how worthless, in attempt to lift fallen spirits means so much. He believes that his good deeds are too small to take much notice, and thinks of himself as selfish for not doing more for others. To him, his random deeds are nothing more than common courtesy, expected by all members of society.
