Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows brightly, and seems to prefer warm areas.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Seeren is the first frozen hatchling of his cave. He is a fierce warrior, despite the fact that he is forever a hatchling. He's had special armor made for him and he acts as a spy, sneaking into enemy camps at night and listening to conversations that can be heard through the command tents. Then, he will report back to his own place and tell the others what he heard. At home, the little hatchling is at peace. He will never breed, but he will enjoy playing with the hatchlings that are newly born to the cave. Seeren will act as sort of a little teacher to them. He is great with kids and loves hanging around with the adults of his breed.
