Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When egg smashing season comes around and it's time to cull the next generation, Earthquake of Doom considers himself to be the best Pebble for the job. He may not be the smartest, strongest or the wisest, but he sure can take out eggs like an angry green terminator on a Monday morning.

That is, of course, why he's called the Earthquake of Doom; because none escape his wrath when he smashes his tail upon the ground to create a mighty earthquake or something like that.
