Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Child of shadow, this dragon's unique heritage has granted her the same ability to slip from this world that her forefathers possessed, enhancing her already skilled hunting abilities to fearsome levels. Yet she's gentle at heart, using her gift to kill only sparingly, eating meat only when an animal is so ill or injured that it could not much longer survive and subsisting on vegetation in between. While many thus think she's squandering her ability, darker minds bemoaning the thefts and assassinations she could get away with if she chose, she's quite content with her uses of it. For, beyond simply utilizing it to hunt, she also relies on it for something more personal. Fascinated by the power of nature, she travels into the hearts of storms where none other would dare to go, using her ability to blink out of harm's way whenever the show threatens to become too dangerous.
