Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Raelyne Raine Lyne is attractive and popular. She is a master of the art of socializing, and is at her happiest when she is at the center of a group. Raelyne's style is easygoing and elegant, and her likable personality enables her to mix with people or dragons of all ages and all walks of life. Due to her intelligence and innovative nature Raelyne developed her clan's main mother language and is assigned to teaching it to every clan member. Raelyne usually starts her teachings when they are hatchlings. Raelyne was assigned this duty by her scroll master when her affinity with languages stood out. When Raelyne teaches her clan to speak in their "mother" language she keeps her clan more safe from spies from rivaling clans that seek to get intel. She also makes her clan more unified as a community. Raelyne sometimes can get snobbish with how influential she is. The language in general sounds vibrant, melodious but also strong and is simply referred to in the clan as "dragon's tongue".
