Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. You find it odd that the hatchling doesn’t move at all during the day, but at night its colors change and it is full of energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Statett loves to freeze in the silliest poses he can think of. Rearing in the air, sticking his tongue out, wings spread wide, even standing on his head. It's hard to catch him in the same pose twice. He spends the most of his frozen days thinking of what poses he will try to pull off next sunrise.
