Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lunacipher is a protective whiptail dragon who's always looking out for others, especially the weak. She travels in search of hunting down vampire dragons, who she wholeheartedly believes will always mean harm, for their feeding and breeding methods always use another dragon's life as a sacrifice.

When Lunacipher hatched, the dense thicket of the forest was her only protection. Drakes and dragons of all sorts had attempted to eat her; it was rare that she met a friendly face. Despite the odds, she survived and grew bolder as a result. She used her strength to gather and protect hatchlings who hatched alone. Eventually, she met a dragon named Tizzybeatle, who leads a small group dedicated to hunting down and killing the members of the vampire dragon species. Many of the individuals felt their wrath first hand, coming from packs torn apart by the undead... Inspired by their noble deed, and the promise of adventure, thrills and saving lives, the whiptail dragon happily joined.
