As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Often called "Wish" by her owner as an endearing nickname, this drake spends most of her time with her owner, usually resting on her shoulder or crawling along her arm. When the pair head to town to pick up supplies, Wish usually ducks into her owner's bag. Surprisingly enough, some people prefer dragons as pelts instead of pets! (And Wish doesn't want to take any risks.)
