White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sientha is a shy dragon whose mother sacrificed herself to let her escape from human hunters. While she is too young to know this, and the fact that her mother refrained from telling her who the people were, she gets a feeling that she may not see her mother again. She and Draco are the last of their specific dragon race in the area, both living at Soul Island. Though she is four years older and far more mature, Draco often shows more knowledge of current events than her, having been raised in seclusion her entire life.
