Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Lauden Crimsontear is a dragon that is not good at turning eggs into vampire eggs, unlike the dragon that made her vampire. At the request of her manager, Day, she tried several times to turn some eggs into vampire eggs, but her tender heart that faltered whenever she did so did not kill the young eggs and made any eggs into a terrible night spirit. When repeated failures and dead eggs kept her struggling with bad memories (even though she's a vampire dragon that has to live off others), Day decided not to let her do anything that was too hard for her.

Even if the vampire dragons are members of the undead, and the only way they could flourish was to bite the egg and infect it, Lauden still had reason, and she decided to live as a normal and intelligent dragon, not as a vampire.
