Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very brightly colored and enjoys splashing in puddles.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Upya is a sweet little wyvern hatchling who isn't aware of his breed's standards or reputation for causing tidal waves. He is playful, curious, and just loves to be silly and really take things at his own pace. He was adopted by the Bluna Stellaluna and mimics everything she does, from sleeping to even getting beached. Upya is a big eater and he is a wandering soul, his quest for food has led him to amazing discoveries and his sweet nature has granted him many sea friends. Upya loves to play in tide pools and in the surf, he also is easy to please and takes interest in sometimes simple things. But he's a welcome addition to the water dragon fold.
