Starsinger Dragons are warm-hearted creatures who make their appearance at the start of winter. During the day, these dragons bask in the sun to absorb light into the crystals at their chest and between their horns. They will then perch high on tree tops or ledges at nightfall, where the shine of their crystals serve as a beacon for any weary travelers who have lost their way. However, these dragons are most well-known for the melodic songs they sing through the night, which can echo out for miles around in harmony with other Starsingers. These songs are often immortalized as festive carols and never fail to instill a sense of cheer and camaraderie during the holiday season.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Reni never thought herself much of a talented singer, and this kept her from composing new melodies for most of her life. Gradually, she started meeting with other Starsinger dragons in an effort to try and figure out how they managed to have such confidence in their songs. She never really quite managed to find her own footing in the composing scene, but discovered that she was rather good at harmonizing and also putting words to a tune. She still keeps a set of steel chimes next to her when she sings, just to make sure she's got all the notes and pitches correct, but nowadays has much more fun singing along with all her friends and making their melodies all the more complex and meaningful.
