Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Some say that the brightest light is produced by the sun. Others say that it is the sunrise dragons who have the power of everlasting, blinding light. Yaryeth is unsure which is true as he has not yet reached any true power over the sun since he is still young. His greatest joy in life is watching the mesmorizing sun rise in all it's glory, bringing life along with it after a long, cold and sinister night. He only wishes to find someone else who appreciates the sunrise as much as him. Perhaps another sunrise dragon. So, him and Firewild, a little fall dragon that he named himself, are setting out on an adventure to find a sunrise dragon clan and oh, how fun it's turning out to be!
