Despite their great size and strength, Celestial Dragons are a peaceful breed named for their spectral, starry appearance. Little else is known about them, as they spend the vast majority of their lives partially phased out of the plane of existence through the use of powerful magic. Celestial Dragons are thought to assume their corporeal form only long enough to reproduce or to die; the rest of the time, they resemble living, breathing constellations, impervious to all physical and magical harm.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Many may consider this kind of dragon a bit special for what they are. Wise, unique, powerful, that's what one may think when first laying eyes upon Rufjk. However, there's one thing they have completely wrong. All Rufjk knows about is hats. She LOVES hats. As a hatchling, she would play a game with the human, taking their hat and wearing it. Well that game has evolved into a real thing. Rufjk owns over a thousand hats, each with its own special case and name. If you want to be friends with Rufjk, bring her a hat. The fancier and more unique the hat, the more excited Rufjk gets. Of course she can't wear any of them, because she's too fancy to be a physical dragon. She would never dare stoop as low as breeding with another dragon. Unless it's someone she likes, then maybe. And of course, if she found the perfect hat.
