And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Often found running around the cave or playing hide and seek with the other dragons in the forest, this little hatchling is always full of energy and constantly looking for new adventures. She shows no fear even though her life is full of danger and scary things. With many years of training, practice and studying (when she's not running around), Lil Snowie will be very wise, fearless, and incredibly fun to be around.
