Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hailey Solomonari is a very... ambitious dragon, to say the least. She's willing to do whatever it takes to move up the social and corporate ladder.

Nobody knows what corporate ladder she's moving up, but she insists that it's very important for her to become the top. With her huge ambition, it's highly likely that she is going to go up the ladder, whatever it is.

Being a Vampire dragon hasn't stalled her big dreams in any way at all. She's actually used her powers to her advantage, threatening to convert the children of anybody who opposes her. Being great friends with Melantha Murther, the lifelong enemy of Corin Deeth III, helps her case quite a bit.

Anyway, anyone is pretty much terrified of her, so she's at least moved up in the social pyramid. Nobody dares to oppose her. She's just that scary.
